1. Why are you passionate about the healthcare industry?
I’ve been in this industry for 27 years, it’s all I’ve ever known. My mother was a nurse, I guess that’s always been my drive…serve the caregivers and empower others to do the same.
2. What’s the best part about your job?
I love solving a problem that others can’t solve alone. We see the pitfalls and roadblocks in our industry. We have an opportunity to do something about it.
3. What’s your favorite hobby?
Family time, boating, fishing and golfing…especially when I get to do these last three with family.
4. Anything people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m a diehard country music fan. Not sure why most people are surprised by that but they always seem to be. I probably got that from my mother as well.
5. What’s your current recommended book(s) and why?
Right now I am reading “Leading Loyalty”. This book is about building an organizational culture toward customer service. I am consumed with building as a service that captures the heart of our clients, creating loyalty and trust. This book reinforces the principals to engrain that level of “customer responsibility” across your organization.
