Department Details: Tech will work in the Chemistry Department rotating every third weekend. Must possess knowledge of clinical chemistry and have ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment. Must be able to learn instrumentation, automation, and lab information systems quickly. Must be details oriented

Work Setting Skills Required: Trauma, Level I Trauma, Community Hospital

General Skills Required: Specimen processing

Chemistry Experience Required: 24 hour urine, Acetone Analysis, B-12 Folates, Cardiac Enzymes, Hormone Testing, Hormone/Thyroid, Immunoassay, Osmolality, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Thyroid Testing, Tumor Markers, Lab Automation, Manual Chemistry

Immunology/Serology Experience Required: Body Fluids, C3, C4, Total Complement, Rapid Test Kits, Rheumatoid Factor, Rubella Serology, FFM, ROM

Urinalysis Experience Required: Analyzer, Crystal Identification, Manual Macroscopic UA, Microscopic UA

Documentation Experience: EPIC, Breaker, Centralink

Preferred Skills: Troubleshooting, quality control monitoring, calibrations, result analysis
