Patient Population: Neonates - Geriatrics The emergency department is a paramedic base station and designated Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI receiving Center for Los Angeles County. The department is also designated as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics. Approximately 75% of ED population is admitted to an inpatient status.
**Nurses are expected to perform own phlebotomy, start IV, and EKGs. RNs will transport and remain with patients in procedural areas, CT and IR, MRI.**
Required Certifications: ACLS BLS MAB NIH PALS
