Clinical Decision Unit:Provides complex observation care to adult emergency patients. Our specialty unit cares for patients with illnesses/injuries that requires observation and those that need admitting to a Med/Surg inpatient unit
36 hours per week (3) 12 hour shifts, rotating shifts, work 2-3 weeks of night shifts, and rotating weekends as needed. Any weeks of RTO will need to be added to the end of the contract. Candidate must have minimum of 1-2 years of ED experience Ratio: 1:4 Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Holidays: Must work 2 of the following holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th & Labor Day,
**Winter Holiday are Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. You must work on Thanksgiving Day or the Day after; For Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, you must work an "Eve" and a "Day"--those can be in a combination of the 2 holidays or one full holiday
No On-Call Possible reassignments within competency Basic Knowledge Assessment Test (BKAT) is required AU code 2002 / CC100224 Unit is located in the Main Hospital, GroundFloor Dress code is Ceil Blue/White
