Job Description

Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel RN – ICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3 36 hours per week
Length:  13 weeks

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience
  • Basic requirement is to be proficient in the care of Med-Surg ICU patients
  • CVICU staff must be proficient in the care of fresh open heart patients
  • ACLS and BLS
Other details:
Number of Beds :  36
Patient Ratios :  1:1, 1:2, 1:3
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : US x 24 hours/ day; some tech availability, dependent on staffing
Type of equipment :  GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Pyxis
Documentation system:  Meditech
Scheduling requirements: Self scheduling in 4 week blocks;  (3) 12 hours shifts per week; 2-3 weekend shifts per month
Floating policy:  Floating required to telemetry areas with a limit of (4) patient ratio
