Job Description

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the adult intensive care unit. Evaluates, assesses, and documents the total intensive care nursing process as needed. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.This position will float to all ICU and M/S Tele units.

Facility Info

89-bed acute care facility, with a qualified medical staff specializing in internal medicine, family practice, cardiology, psychiatry, pediatrics, radiology, ENT, emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, general and endoscopic surgery. With the support of the medical staff the hospital offers services to include a medical unit, surgical unit, ICU, New Day behavior unit for geriatrics and adults, New Vision medical stabilization for addictions, rehabilitation beds, Community Hospice, Home Health, and Same Day Surgery Center. The Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day with very qualified physicians and nurses all, trained and certified with advanced life support skills. We are especially proud that our ER has been recognized and is included in an elite group of hospitals in the nation as a recipient of the 2016 Women's Choice Award for America's Best Emergency Care.
