Unit details: central line placement arterial line placement EKG Peripheral A-Line experience required. Cardiac drips: norepinepherine, dopamine, vasopressin, neosynepherine, epi, amino Drips: precedex, propofol, heparin intubation tracheostomy thoracentesis paracentesis dialysis catheter placement therapeutic hypothermia IABP - only if specified CVICU/CTICU CRRT - preferred, not required ICP - preferred, not required pacemaker sheath removal preferred must have strong code management skills - defibrillation skills skills assessment - Neuro Stroke Assessment skills - must be 3 or more.

Number of needs: 1 Unit: ICU Start date: Shift: 3-12s days Duration: 13 weeks Average daily census: 20 Beds: 34 Patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1 Call required: yes occasionally may be placed on Float required: yes if not needed in ICU FLOAT- MS/Tele, SDU Weekend shifts per contract: 3-4 WEEKEND SHIFT PER MONTH Documentation system: EPIC Required certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Preferred cert: CCRN Required skills: Vents, IV Start, conscious sedation, tele Preferred skills: ICP, PA Lines, A Lines Minimum required experience: 2 years Unit accepts 1st time travelers: yes Scrub: Navy Patient population: Adult ICU, No trauma, No BMT. Covers all other ICU illnesses and conditions, including but not limited to: Must have strong Cardiac experience, Respiratory, Stroke, Sepsis, DKA, Post-operative complication, pre-post cardiac cath experience required STEMI patients, chest pain, MI CVICU - (CTICU) cardiothoracic surgery (will specify if this type of TN needed)/ Neuro assessment - strong skills - hemorrhagic stroke
