JOB SUMMARY: The Medical/Surgical RN provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses as part of our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The RN provides accessible and quality care for members of the community utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Med/Surg RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Due to the broad range of medical conditions that present to our 25-bed mixed acuity unit, the RN must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). Current, active licensure as a registered nurse in the state of New Hampshire. Current BLS certification. PALS and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
