12hr Nights 36 hrs or 48HRS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED. Ratios: 1:4-5 ~38 pps, adults and geriatrics. Floating Required: " Team Model Approach", Will assist in being Floated to ICU, ED, and other Medsurg Units,, Patient Sitting, You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team
REQUIRED: BCLS. PREFERRED: CPI Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: NO Epic charting experience required!
Systems: Accudose, transitioning to omnicell in fall, EPIC (Experience required!), SBAR. Unit info: Medical patients with little surgery. Respiratory, Sepsis, End of Life, Oncology, GI. Bladder scanner, Stratus (interpreter), Vein Viewer, Rectal probe monitor, Phillips vital signs, (Relaxation room for staff with massage chair, quiet and peaceful room).
Orientation: 36hrs (1st day: tour, computer modules and then floor when finished. Day 2&3 - on floor with a nurse). Scrubs: no specific color, no pedi/camo/procedural or OR scrubs.
