Shift: Variable Days/ 7a-3:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, Rotating Call

Length: 13 Weeks

May float to Jackson or Athens if needed
Call 1 day per week, 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Requirements:

  • OH RN License
  • Minimum 1 year experience strongly preferred
  • CPAN Preferred
  • ACLS
  • BLS
Position: Circulator
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Times/Schedule: Varied – 5 8s. 7-330 with call rotation Expectation to float if needed based on schedule and staffing needs to Jackson or Athens locations.
Licensure: *OH RN Required & Minimum of 1 Year Experience Strongly Preferred*

The Registered Nurse will work under the supervision of the Unit Manager following the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice, and code of ethics (see attachment) within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model. These standards include:
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Assessment- collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation.
Nursing diagnosis- analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.
Outcomes identification- identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.
Planning- develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implementation- implements the identified plan.
Coordination of care (delegating)
Health teaching and health promotion
Evaluation- evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
ANA Standards of Professional Practice:
Quality of practice- systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Education- attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Professional practice evaluation- evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
Collegiality- interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaboration- collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
Ethics-integrated ethical provisions in all areas of practice.
