Job Description

Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel RN - Oncology Infusion

Shift: Variable / 7:30a-6p, 10a-8:30p, 11a-9:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, M-F
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
  • CA-RN License
  • Min 2 years oncology experience
  • Must be chemo certified
  • IV Start experience
  • BCLS
10H Variable shifts ( 7:30-1800, 10-2030, 11-2130) M-F Patient Population - Ambulatory, oncology, non-oncology patients. Chemotherapy, biologics, antibiotics, narcotics, hydration. Any patients requiring infusion support similar to MCC. Min 2 years oncology experience Must be chemo certified! CA-RN License BCLS IV Start experience RN may float to other comparable units RN may float to other campuses if needed; KOP, Encinitas, MCC, same skill sets Weekends Days: 2-3 days per 4 week schedule Willing to work late shifts 4 per 4 weeks schedule Willing to work holidays First time travelers OK only if experienced with both ambulatory and medical oncology RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed once profile is sent to UCSD No more than 7 days of RTO in a 13-week contract is preferred No RTO during the first 2 weeks of assignment Manager will probably not interview, and RN must be OK with that. REFERENCES: Must have TWO references to submit to facility: one must be from mgr/sup/dir in the last year and from the unit/specialty they are being submitted to. The other ref can be from a charge nurse
