75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Traveler must not permanently reside within a 75-mile radius of intended facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.2 years experience current required in a Pediatric HemOnc Specialty care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Will float to NICU, PICU and Peds. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. CERTS: APHON (cert to administer oncology medications), BLS and PALS certifications required. BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.SHIFTS: This is a 12-hour night shift position. Shift start time 1900.Weekends three (3) weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.Holidays per PHS Clinical Staffing and scheduling policy.Call on call (12-hour call) once per six-week rotation.Floating all travelers are required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients. This includes PresNow ED/UCs and all facilities within the Central Delivery System (Albuquerque metro area).Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Ratios- 1:3 or 1:4ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
