Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel RN - PICU

Shift: Days  / 7a-7p (12x3) 36 
Length: 13 weeks 

Requirements:
  • 2 years experience
  • Level 1 Trauma Experience
  • BCLS, PALS
  • clinical experience in higher-acuity mixed (medical/cardiac) preferred
  • Float to NICU and Pediatric Units
  • CCRN Preferred
Role: PICU RN - 3X12 Days Shift: Days 3x12s 0700 - 1900 Patient Population: The Doernbecher PICU cares for critically ill neonatal, pediatric, and young adult patients. We care for patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, oncologic, and trauma diagnoses. We also care for patients requiring advanced modalities of treatment including continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Patient Age Group: Neonates, Infants, Peds, Adolescents Floating: Required, Float to NICU and Pediatric Units Weekends: Weekend Coverage Every Other Weekend, 6 Weekends Per Contract Certifications: BCLS, PALS, (CCRN Preferred) Special Procedures: Bedside procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubations/extubations, CRRT initiation/discontinuation, ECMO cannulations/decannulations, chest exploration, and any other emergent operative procedures for a patient who is too unable to transport to the OR. Special Equipment: - Hamilton G5 Ventilators - DirectLink ICP Monitors - Artic Sun Targeted Temperature Management - Baxer Prismaflex Machines Required Skills: - Vents - ICP - PA Lines - Telemetry Preferred Skills: - IV Start - Conscious Sedation - Level 1 Trauma Experience Additional Information: Prefer candidates who have had clinical experience in higher-acuity mixed (medical/cardiac) PICUs.
