Mandatory Skills: Strong assessment skills, knowledgeable on aseptic/sterile technique, quick learner, critical thinker, good time management, engaging, basic dressing changes, ventilator/trach management, suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, drip management, foleys insertion/management, discharge experience
Required Certifications: BLS, PALS
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years (2 years preferred)
Consider 1st time traveler: Yes
Nurse to Patient Ratio:  1:2 based on acuity; 1:3 during surge (based on acuity and accomodations)
Support Staff: Support techs, CRN, IV therapy team, circulating nurse, transport tech, unit resource, designated ICU RT, Specialist services, centralized monitoring
EMR: Epic/Alaris IV Pumps/Pyxis Medication Dispensing system
Floating: All MSU, PICU overflow, ED (helping hands)
Scheduling: Every other weekend
On-Call: Yes, only if there is low census
Scrub Color: Any, professional (no hooded shirts/sweaters and long sleeves must be able to be pulled up above the elbow)
Parking: Free
Culture: Travel friendly, team oriented, strong communication, great physician-RN relationship
