Cardiac Progressive Care RN75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must provide proof of a current Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) or Dysrhythmia exam or will be tested during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.SHIFTS:12 hour Night shift position-starttime 1900-Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays are required.Travelers are first to floatwithin facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
