Ortho preferred Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Heparin, Cardizem Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes/Yes Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios Yes. 8-10:1 RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap/Bipap Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Yes. Yes, monitor techs RNs must be able to read basic strips Shifts & Scheduling Days 0700-1930 NOC 1900-0730 6 week cycles. Weekend Requirement Every other weekend Holiday Requirement yes Is there a call or standby requirement? no Floating Requirements Yes. 1st to float Scrub Color/Dress Code scrubs Unit/Department specific orientation EPIC training if not used system within year or fail Sphinx assessment.
