This 207-bed hospital group is recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. It was recently chosen as an expert training site for the installation of Vascade, a closure device in their advanced Cath Lab. The hospital features three campuses – the main campus is a 6-story facility servicing over 90,000 parish residents, and is the second largest employer in the city with over 1,100 employees. Services include a medical imaging center with the latest CT and MRI technology, cardiac care services (including the first treatments for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) in the area) and also offers an 8-bed designated unit for orthopedics and spine surgery patients.
