Job Description

Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration required. Includes advance practice nurses such as: nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse midwives, and certified registered nurse anesthetists. Advanced practice nursing is practiced by RNs who have specialized formal, post-basic education and who function in highly autonomous and specialized roles.

The new hospital opened its doors to South Los Angeles in 2015. The hospital serves about 1.35 million residents from all over South Los Angeles including Compton, Inglewood, Watts, Willowbrook and Lynwood. 

The new hospital has 131 beds providing general acute care. It features a 21-bed emergency department, a critical care unit, and labor and delivery services. It includes radiology and imaging as well as additional hospital-based services that are most-needed in the community. 

It's one of the most modern hospitals in southern California with the highest quality doctors and nurses on staff, the most advanced and innovative healthcare technology, and the best medical equipment available today. This state-of-the-art hospital serves the community by providing inpatient primary care, basic emergency services, and health education and outreach services.

The facility reserves the right to cancel 0 hours without penalty. If canceled due to the facility's choosing, you will still be paid your per diems.
