Tele Medsurg Unit
The Registered Nurse provides collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs. The Staff Registered Nurse implements and evaluates care delivery based on predicted outcomes while anticipating potential responses, provides assessment, treatment and care throughout the hospital and outlying clinics. The Staff Registered Nurse will practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the SJHS Core Value’s and the hospital’s mission statement. Refer to unit assessment for minimum requirements.
Minimum Work Week. For Travel and Local Contract Associate Providers confirmed for eight (8), tenÂ
(10) or any combination of eight (8), ten (10) and twelve (12) hour shifts, Associate Providers will beÂ
provided a guaranteed minimum of forty (40) scheduled hours per each weekly payroll period. ForÂ
Travel and Local Contract Associate Providers confirmed for twelve (12) hour shifts, AssociateÂ
Providers will be provided a guaranteed minimum of thirty-six (36) scheduled hours per each weeklyÂ
payroll period. A guaranteed minimum of forty-eight (48) scheduled hours per weekly payroll periodÂ
may be provided solely for critical need assignments on a per confirmation basis as communicated toÂ
AV by AMN in writing. Notwithstanding the foregoing, St. Mary Medical Center may call off up to threeÂ
(3) shifts per 13 week assignment with no penalty. The guaranteed minimum work week applies to allÂ
work weeks, including weeks during which orientation is provided, weeks with holidays and weeksÂ
