Job Description

A Pediatrics Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the pediatrics department and/or intensive care unit (PICU). Evaluates, assesses, and documents the total nursing and treatment process as needed. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse with at least 2 years of clinical experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Facility Info

Each year more than 3,000 babies are born at the facility, many of which are high-risk births. The facility is home to the region's largest and busiest Level IV (highest level) neonatal intensive care unit and level I (highest level) pediatric intensive care unit.
