  • Cardiac experience required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited by ASSCS, ACCET, CAAHEP, or ABHES, or national certification issued by CMA, NCCT, or AMT.
  • Recent experience of 6 months in a Clinic/Ambulatory setting or 12 months of collective experience over the past 3 years.
  • Valid AHA BLS certification.
  • Experience with Epic EMR, blood draws, specimen handling and processing, and EKG knowledge.
  • Proficiency in manual and electronic blood pressure monitoring.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records.
