Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is currently hiring Pharmacy Techs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to work at a Hospital. Pharmacy Technician / Pharm Tech Contract Details:

  • $840 â $898 per week*
  • 12-week contract with possibility to extend

Responsibilities:

Preparing prescriptions â collect information from patients or health professionals to fill prescriptions, and then prepare and label themDispensing medications â Ensue medications are distributed accurately to patients or healthcare professionalsManaging inventory â track medication stock and supplies, and alert pharmacists to shortagesProcessing insurance claims â Handle billing and insurance verificationMaintaining records â Keep detailed records of medication and patient informationProviding customer service â answer questions about medications and health matters, and provide guidance on medication usageAssisting with administrative work â Stock supplies, submit insurance claims, and perform other administrative duties- *Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Requirements:

  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacy Tech License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience
