As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.  Facility As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - https://www.welletraining.com (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - https://www.crisisprevention.com 

Average daily census: 20 patients
RN to patient ratio: 1:9 (depending on census)
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Average stay length: 5-7 days
EMR: EPIC

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.  RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!  NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).  

 OT and Holiday Multipliers: x1.25 

Dress Code:  Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies. 

Non-Billable Orientation: 8 HRs 
Call: NA for this need 

Cancellation policy:  Facility  can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 week contract , must give 2 hr notice

  • Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required
  • Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required 
  • Recent travel experience 
  • Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients
  • De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications- REQUIRED
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.  This is a firm requirement. 
  • EPIC experience required
Clinician MUST be reliable!  No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit

  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 
  • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
  • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and CPI - Facility will not pend license/certs)
