ED Obs 1 – Registered Nurse
Schedule-D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs Job Duties: The Observation unit cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if the patient's condition is serious enough for admission to the hospital or if the patient can be treated and released home safely. The Observation unit is a very fast paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. The unit has 24/7 provider coverage. Care for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions.
Job Requirements: - RN License (NY License ONLY) - Two (2) Med/Surg Experience - Telemetry Required
Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
ACLS preferred!
