Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11am - 9:30pm EST, no weekends or on call

This is a fast paced procedural area in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural care. Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude a must.

Job Requirements: - 2 years' Registered Nursing experience (Two years' experience) - 2 years of IR or PACU experience - Telemetry Experience Required - New York RN license (ONLY)

Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

PALS Highly desirable!

will be required to wear hospital issued and laundered scrub pants and tops in addition to other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas

Facility Information

St Barnabas Community Hospital is owned by NHS Property Services, and leased to Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT). CFT provides adult community services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The hospital’s minor injury unit (MIU) closed in December 2016 to focus staff on the inpatient wards. Nurses from the ward staffed the unit. There were 455 attendances at the MIU in the 12 months before it closed. In February 2017 the inpatient beds temporarily closed. This was to support safe staffing levels at Liskeard Hospital. In the previous 12 months, 209 people were admitted to an inpatient bed at St Barnabas.
