Job Description:

Currently, weâre hiring 1:1 school nurses to work directly with a student in a school located in Wentzville, Missouri.

1:1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:

  • $40 â $43 per hour
  • This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the studentâs medical diagnosis and care plan
  • Contract is for the current school year
  • The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
  • Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
  • RN will be matched to student based on the nurseâs medical acuity experience
  • 1:1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses/requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes

Requirements:

  • Missouri RN License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Prior school setting or pediatrics experience
