Registered Nurse Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in maternal special care to join our team. This position will require working night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, with a rotation that includes every other weekend and holidays as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in antepartum and postpartum settings. Monitor patients with telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, and those receiving magnesium therapy. Interpret dysrhythmias accurately to ensure timely interventions. Support and educate patients regarding their conditions and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Proficient experience with Epic electronic health records system is required. Must possess current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias effectively. Patient Diagnoses Antepartum care Postpartum care with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry Postpartum patients receiving magnesium therapy Postpartum patients experiencing intrauterine fetal demise (PP IUFD) Additional Requirements All employees are required to receive the flu vaccine to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
