Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care in a cardiac ICU environment. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions. Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies. Utilize critical care equipment, including vents, balloon pumps, and PA lines. Perform conscious sedation and comfort measures for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using electronic health records systems. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license required. 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required. Proficiency in IV starts, telemonitoring, and use of critical care technologies. Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred. Previous travel nursing experience is a plus. Shifts and Scheduling: Full-time position: 36 hours - Night shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30). Rotating holidays and required floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday/Saturday for night shifts).
