Job Opportunity Position: Registered Nurse - CVICU We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in cardiac care, and demonstrate the capacity to provide exceptional patient support in a high-acuity environment. Schedule and Availability 36-hour work week, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30) Rotating holidays Floating within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity is required Up to 6 weekend shifts every 4-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shifts, Friday/Saturday for night shifts) Patient Ratios Estimated patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Skills required include IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheterization, conscious sedation, balloon pump management, and PA line management Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required Previous travel nursing experience is preferred Parking Information Agency staff can choose from several parking permit options, which include: WMC Agency Permit: 24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage, guaranteed availability.
