Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position in the Oncology Pod. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be prepared to float as needed within the department. Experience Required Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience. At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. EPIC experience is required. Certifications BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Skills Required Proficient in IV starts. Experience with telemetry monitoring. Patient Ratio Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Request Time Off (RTO) Submission of RTO is required at the time of application. A maximum of 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for a 14-week contract. Parking Information Agency staff have various parking permit options available for purchase: WMC Agency Permit: 24/7 access to designated parking garage. WB Permit: Weekend/holiday access to surface lots with shuttle service provided. CXS Permit: Weekend/holiday access to additional garages and surface lots.
