The RN will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care within the pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Key Responsibilities Utilize advanced telemetry and dysrhythmia management techniques. Provide care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown environment. Implement IV insulin and heparin protocols effectively. Manage patients with renal failure and administer cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration adjustments. Execute blood product administration and tracheostomy management when needed. Engage in Rapid Response Team utilization to address emergent situations. Perform wound care, including the use of wound vac systems. Administer non-invasive airway management techniques, such as CPAP/BIPAP and oxygen therapy. Document all patient interactions and care using EPIC software. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing field. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Staffing Ratios Our staffing ratio is set at 1 nurse for every 4 patients, ensuring focused and personalized care. Shift Information This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.
