Registered Nurse Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Observation Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and holding, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care across various age groups. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation Unit. Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and response to treatment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health protocols and regulations. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room or ER Holding, with Medical/Surgical/Tele experience preferred. Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Ability to care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Shift Details This position requires a night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. Parking Information Parking options are available with differing access and payment plans: WMC: 24/7 access to the garage with a monthly payment option. WB: Annual permit offering access to specific garages on weekends and holidays. CXS: Annual permit with access during weekends and holidays to certain locations.
