Registered Nurse Emergency Department Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement necessary interventions. Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Manage multiple patient cases effectively, ensuring a 1:5 patient ratio. Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse License. Relevant certifications, including: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Previous experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred. Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Shifts This position requires availability for night shifts.
