Registered Nurse Emergency Department Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department (ED). This position involves working in a 48 treatment space ED with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 during the night shift. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in emergency nursing and be adept at providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Monitor and manage patients with various medical emergencies. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs. Adhere to all safety and ethical practices within the department. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification. Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training. Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred. Skills and Attributes Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
