We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity with an exceptional Occupational Healthcare / Primary Care organization in New York, NY. ·      Contract Length: 5 weeks plus ·      Start date: ASAP ·      Schedule: DAYS – Monday through Friday 10 am – 6:30 pm ·      Local Pay rate range: $60-$67 an hour ·      Travel Pay: $2767 a week gross pay / $1967 a week travel stipend ·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay   JOB DESCRIPTION: ·      RN needed for an occupational health clinic.  ·      Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice ·      Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed ·      Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) ·      Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice ·      Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures ·      Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records ·      Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care   Requirements: ·      3 years of ER, Critical Care, Urgent Care, Primary Care or occupational health RN experience. ·      Experience with point of care testing required. ·      RN license in NY required.
