Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on providing high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Shift Details Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Every other weekend is required. Floating to other departments may be necessary when census warrants. Responsibilities Perform general Emergency Department duties, combining care for both adult and pediatric patients. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including multi-system organ dysfunction/failure. Administer blood products, manage central lines, and provide phlebotomy services. Start IVs, administer continuous IV paralytics and sedation, and manage emergency medications and IV vasopressors. Conduct procedural sedation and manage patients with strokes and isolation precautions. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency setting is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Licenses and Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS are mandatory. Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is required. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Additional Information Scrub colors should be a combination of navy and white.
