Registered Nurse ER (Adult) Scheduling Details Shift Hours: 11a-11p alternating with 7p-7a Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Must be available for every other holiday, if needed Charting Experience with EPIC required Call Off Policy The possibility of the client canceling up to three shifts during the contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours. Required Licenses and Certifications Must hold an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not a compact state) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – include valid NIHSS in submission Clinical Skills IV therapy (including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs; IV vasopressors) CPAP/BiPAP and Ventilator management Emergency care for CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias) Experience in handling trauma cases (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma) Knowledge of isolation precautions and triage; pediatric spinal cord injury Unit Details and Floating Ratios: 1:5 for adults and geriatrics across various emergency diagnoses Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment Floating: Will be required to float within skillset Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white About the Emergency Department The emergency department is a state-of-the-art, 24/7 facility designed for rapid patient care.
