Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Information Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Weekend and holiday rotation required. Minimum Experience Requirements 0 years of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Certifications/Requirements Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Completion of at least 3 Emergency Department assignments or 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience is required. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications are strongly preferred but not mandatory. Job Description This position is in a Level III Trauma Center featuring 8 beds and 2 trauma bays, ranking among the busiest Emergency Departments in the state. Assignments consist of 36 hours per week with a primary focus on emergency care. Every other weekend is mandatory, and participation in holiday rotations is expected. Excessive requests for time off around holidays will not be accommodated. While taking call is not a typical requirement, it may be requested on rare occasions. Technical Requirements Competency in Epic EMR is necessary. Candidates without experience in Epic will not be considered, regardless of Emergency Department experience.
