House Supervisor Job Description We are seeking an experienced House Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing operations during off hours and weekends when no other leadership is present. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of nursing units, ensuring high standards of patient care. Act as a leader and resource for nursing staff in the absence of other supervisory personnel. Facilitate effective communication among staff, departments, and administration. Handle admission and discharge procedures efficiently, maintaining compliance with facility policies. Monitor patient census and make resource allocation decisions as necessary. Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a nursing setting. Extensive experience in med-surg, surgical, behavioral health, operating room, and emergency department settings. Must be comfortable leading in varying circumstances and capable of managing facility operations independently. BLS certification required. EPIC experience is mandatory. Work Schedule This position requires a commitment to working nights, with a schedule consisting of four 12-hour shifts each week from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment.
