ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Details 12-hour night shifts available: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required. Floating to other units may be necessary based on organizational needs. Requirements Active RN experience in ICU/MICU is required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Experience with EMR: Epic is preferred. Unit Details This position will work with an adult patient population. Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1 Scrub color: Navy Blue Common Skills & Responsibilities Ventilator management Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips IV sedation and neuromuscular blockade Arterial lines and central lines PICC line management Blood product administration Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Dysrhythmia interpretation 12-lead EKGs Hypothermia protocol Stroke and neuro care BiPAP/CPAP management High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) therapy ABGs and wound vac management Isolation precautions and infection prevention Parking Options WMC Monthly Permit - Includes guaranteed 24/7 parking in the medical center garage.
