Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse Schedule 3x12 hour shifts, nights - Total of 36 hours per week. Job Summary The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU. This role involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, with a specific focus on managing complex medical conditions and critical care needs. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Required Skills: Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Administration of continuous IV sedation Care and management of ventilated patients, including ventilator management Floating Requirement Registered Nurses may be required to float to different units as necessary within the organization.
