Critical Care Float Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. This role will support various intensive care units, including Medical, Surgical, Neuro, Cardiovascular, and additional specialty units as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to diverse patient care environments. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients across different intensive care units. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, performing necessary interventions. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and perform EKG/ECG and other critical assessments. Support patients undergoing complex therapeutic procedures and transplants. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care settings. Flexibility to float to various intensive care units as required. Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Strong skills in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Experience in post-cardiac surgery care preferred. Shift Details Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with a weekend day and one weekday included.
