ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring and assessment skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients in a mixed ICU setting. Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and perform assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) for accurate documentation and patient management. Maintain and operate medical equipment, including IV pumps, bedside monitors, and CRRT systems. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification in CPI, BLS, and ACLS. Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training. Experience in an ICU setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Work Environment This position is located within a twenty-bed mixed ICU, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive healthcare team. The successful candidate will work night shifts, providing vital care to patients during critical hours.
