ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview An opportunity for a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a twenty-bed mixed ICU. The role involves using advanced medical technology and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) through EPIC for patient documentation and communication. Operate various medical devices, including IV pumps, bedside monitors, and CRRT systems. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). Completion of 8 hours of stroke training. Experience in critical care nursing preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
