ICU Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Below you will find important details regarding the role and its requirements. Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients with critical conditions, including those presenting with diagnoses such as Sepsis, Post Cardiac Arrest, and ARDS. Competently perform essential nursing skills, including phlebotomy and IV placements. Utilize advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, balloon pumps, and Level I Rapid Infusers. Interpret dysrhythmias and manage patient conditions accordingly. Administer blood products and manage central lines and PICC lines. Implement emergency protocols and medications as required for patient stabilization. Care for ventilated patients and manage respiratory treatments, including BiPAP and CPAP supports. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required. Ability to work as a float nurse in the medical-surgical unit when necessary. Strong understanding of patient management during critical situations. Demonstrated competency in advanced nursing skills such as 12-lead EKG interpretation and IV insulin protocols. Work Schedule Night shifts covering 3 shifts of 12 hours each. Participation in weekend coverage required every other weekend. Request for Time Off (RTO) should be close to one week to ensure adequate staffing. Additional Information Staffing ratios are maintained at 1:2 across all shifts. Candidates should be located more than 75 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
