ICU Registered Nurse (RN) As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the ICU Registered Nurse (RN) contributes professional and clinical expertise in the delivery and management of care for critically ill patients. Schedule and Requirements Shift starts at 0700, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Mandatory requirement to work every third weekend. No on-call responsibilities are associated with this position. Orientation Dates December 7 December 21 Patient Types Cardiac Trauma Neuro Holiday Commitment The traveler is expected to be available to work two out of the three major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. There will be a limit of one day-off request during the periods of November 25-29 and December 23-27 for all travelers. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required. PALS certification is preferred. TNCC certification is preferred and will be required for potential extensions. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply. The traveler may be asked to float to other units within their discipline across multiple locations in the region. Certification Requirements Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted). Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates accepted).
