Our focus is on enhancing the quality of life for patients undergoing treatment who may experience issues such as uncontrolled pain, severe nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Oncology & Palliative Unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Manage and address symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, and other side effects of treatment. Support patients and their families through complex medical situations, ensuring a compassionate approach. Float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity as required. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Previous travel experience in a nursing capacity is preferred. Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required. Shift and Scheduling Candidates may be assigned to work night shifts or rotate between day and night shifts depending on departmental needs. Shift assignments will be reviewed every four weeks, though changes cannot be guaranteed.
