The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for effective time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. Responsibilities include direct patient care, which consists of assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patients' conditions. The RN Team Lead collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, and advocates for patients. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization skills. Conduct thorough assessments, monitoring, recording, and reporting on patient conditions. Advocate for patients and promote ethical and professional practices within the nursing scope. Support evidence-based practice (EBP) and best practices related to patient care. Maintain clinical competence specific to the care area, completing required education within the designated timeframe. Coordinate care efficiently with the interdisciplinary team. Communicate effectively and document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Engage in unit councils and staff meetings. Qualifications Must possess a valid state nursing license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Physical Requirements This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and may involve long periods of sitting or standing. Employees must be capable of operating necessary equipment. Work Schedule This is a full-time position consisting of five evening shifts per week, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The role requires working every other weekend and every other holiday, with floating to other units as staffing permits. Unit Information The facility comprises three units with a total capacity of 120 beds, with a maximum of 40 residents in each unit.
