Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-quality patient care and possess a strong background in cardiac nursing. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes. Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Qualifications Current and valid state nursing license. Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a relevant setting. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. Proficiency in using EPIC EMR system. CARDIAC nursing experience is essential. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification is also required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Additional Information Candidates must be within 50 miles of the facility to qualify for local hiring considerations. Additionally, applicants with prior employment within the last 12 months at the organization are not eligible to apply for travel positions. Work Schedule The selected candidate is expected to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 11/2 and 11/16.
