Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for various assignments in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac care and be proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC. Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care and manage clinical responsibilities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including cardiac drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Non-DKA insulin, and Amiodarone. Ensure compliance with safety and protocol guidelines. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications State RN license required, with a preference for candidates holding an IA single state or compact RN license and IL license application at time of offer acceptance. At least one completed travel contract in the past is preferred. EPIC experience is required. ACLS certification preferred, BLS certification required, NIHSS certification required. Cardiac experience is required. New graduates are welcome to apply. Must not have been an employee of the organization in the last 12 months. Orientation Schedule Orientation sessions are scheduled for November 2 and November 16. Work Schedule Position is available for 36 or 48-hour contracts, with options for 8, 10, or 13-week assignments. Contractors may be required to work during upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Additional Information Must have a taxable address that is located more than 50 miles from the facility. Call back pay is applicable under specified conditions. Overtime is billable under specific hours worked each week.
